　　The declaration stressed that we must firmly support general secretary Xi Jinping's series of instructions on the development of the Yangtze River economic belt, and resolutely implement the relevant provisions of the Yangtze River Protection Act, and strive to transform the pressure of legal supervision into the driving force for high quality development, and the opportunity for transformation and upgrading.

　　The Yangtze River is the mother river of the Chinese nation, the Yangtze River Basin is the economic center of China, and the Yangtze River economic belt is a gathering area of chemical industry. To protect the mother river and promote the high-level construction and high-quality development of the Yangtze River economic belt, it is required that the chemical industry in the whole basin should speed up the pace of transformation and upgrading, and move towards the road of ecological priority and green development. Therefore, relevant units of chemical industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt jointly signed and issued the Declaration on green development of chemical industry of "great protection of the Yangtze River, we are in action", with practical actions to help the leap of Yangtze River civilization and realize the vision of "beautiful China".

　　Chemical industry is not only the basic and pillar industry of national economy, but also the industry with high safety and environmental risks. It is also the supporting industry to solve the real environmental problems. It has the key significance to the success or failure of the Yangtze River protection.

　　We firmly support general secretary Xi Jinping's series of directive spirit on the development of the Yangtze River economic belt. "We must protect the whole country and do not carry out large-scale development." it is not to say that we should not make great progress. First, we should set a rule to put the Yangtze River's ecological restoration in the first place and protect the mother river of the Chinese nation, and we should not carry out destructive development.

　　We firmly implement the relevant provisions of the Yangtze River Protection Law and strive to transform the pressure of legal supervision into the power of high-quality development and the opportunity of transformation and upgrading.

　　To this end, we propose and commit ourselves to:

　　1、 Adhere to the ecological priority and green development concept. To establish the advanced concept of protective development and construction in the protection, put the protection of the Yangtze River Resources and environment ecology in the priority position of all work, and never sacrifice the common interests of the Yangtze River Protection for pursuing the individual economic interests, making it a common value and action criterion of the chemical industry in the Yangtze River economic belt.

Taking the innovation practice as the main body, integrating the power of related industries such as politics, production, learning, research, use and media, etc., we can create a policy environment and social atmosphere conducive to the transformation and upgrading of the industry, and form a new and dynamic situation as soon as possible.
